Tip: If your child is too young to write have them tell you what they want to say and write it down for them. The inside of the card is blank for children, dad, grandma or grandpa to write a special note to Mom. To decorate the card you can also add a green hill and two cute little clouds in the sky that are included in the template.
Tip: You can trace your child’s hand out with a pencil, instead of using paint to make the craft faster, easier, and less messy. Whatever keeps both of you smiling will make Mom the happiest.
If you want, you can always skip the paint and trace their hands out on yellow paper. When making handprint crafts with toddlers and preschoolers, plan on making more then one handprint because it can take a few tries to get enough paint with full coverage on each little finger as well as get their tiny hand placed correctly on the paper with all 5 fingers showing.
